Concerns for teen runaway

Concerns are rising for a 15-year-old Christchurch girl who ran away from home with no money, phone or vehicle more than a week ago.

Ashley Sehnert went missing from her Avonhead home on Wednesday last week and police are seeking public help to find her.

Sergeant Mick Burnett, of Papanui police youth aid, said Ashley had no way of supporting herself, and her family and friends were concerned.

She was described as Caucasian with brown hair past her shoulders, possibly wearing glasses with pink frames.

Police wanted to hear from anyone with information on her whereabouts.
