Concerns for missing Wellington teen

Police are concerned for the welfare of a teenage Wellington girl who has been missing for three weeks.

Laura Katharina Williams, 16, was last seen on Tuesday, June 12.

Johnsonville Youth Aid Constable Phil Starr said Laura was due to appear in the Wellington Youth Court on June 12 but did not show up.

She was reported missing late last week.

"Laura is around 168 centimetres tall, of medium build and German descent," Mr Starr said.

"She is thought to be in the wider Wellington city area, including the Cuba Street area. We'd like to hear from any of her friends or associates who may have seen her in recent days."
