COMMUNITY HEALTH TEAM LEADER
The Eastern Bay Primary Health Alliance (EBPHA) has a new vacancy for a Community Health Team Lead (0.625 FTE 25 hours per week).
This is a new role within the EBPHA Management team and reflects the growth and potential of the EBPHA provided community services.
This is an active leaderhship role which has equal emphasis on leading and optimising the performance of the current Community Health Team, and working with Management and colleagues to develop new opportunities. This role is a positive and active response to the work of the Bay of Plenty Alliance Leadership Team (BOPALT) and the impact of the Bay of Plenty Integrated Healthcare Strategy over the next two or three years.
This role will be well integrated with the key relationships and business development activities of the Management team, and will carry the confidence of the Chief Executive and Board.
Knowledge and experience required to be successful within this role are:
"h In depth understanding of the New Zealand health sector and the opportunities and challenges within;
"h Sound understanding of clinical quality requirements;
"h Experience in working with and leading clinical professionals;
"h Sound understanding of business principles;
"h Sound judgement; and
"h Strong communication and facilitation skills.
