The Bay of Plenty Division of Parkinson's New Zealand is looking to employ innovative and motivated Parkinson's Community Educator(s). This is an opportunity for you to work with people with Parkinson's and their families in the Bay of Plenty area.
It isessential that you have good assessment and communication skills, and enthusiasm for working with individuals and groups. You must be able to work independently; network and liaise with clients, carers and other health professionals; be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including working outside standard hours where required.
The Bay of Plenty Division of Parkinson's New Zealand provides a friendly working environment, coupled with professional development and support systems.
•A Registered Health Professional with current practising certificate preferably with three years post registration experience. •Working 27 hours per week. (We would consider a job-share position of 7 hours per week in Eastern Bay of Plenty, and 20 hours per week for Western Bay of Plenty should suitable candidates be identified) •A reliable car and full driver's license is essential.
