A well-known entertainer facing a charge of sexually violating a young girl has reappeared in court.
The man, who has interim name suppression, reappeared in Auckland District Court facing a single charge of unlawful sexual connection against a child under 12.
The comedian made no plea when he appeared before Judge Emma Aitken this morning.
He was remanded on bail and will reappear for a post-committal conference next month. A condition of his bail was that he not be alone with children aged under 16.
