College students in large Auckland brawl

A large brawl involving college students in Onehunga has been broken up by Auckland police.

Reports of the fight on the corner of Princes and Hill Streets came through at around 4.30 this afternoon and may have involved up to 50 people.

Inspector Matt Sillars says a large contingent of police were sent to the scene.

He says a few people are being attended to by ambulance crews but he couldn't say whether any arrests were made.

Inspector Sillars says it's believed only one school is involved.
