Wairarapa College provided the main talking point in Netball Wairarapa premier one interclub matches played at the Colombo Road courts in Masterton on Saturday
The students were probably slight underdogs for their clash with Pioneer Blue but in a close, enthralling match came away with a 38-33 victory.
The two Carterton New World teams, Legends and Lynx, had their expected battle royal with the Legends having their noses in front at the final whistle, 42 to 40.
Makoura College had 10 goals to spare from Baywide Gladstone, 35 to 25, while competition favourites Harcourts maintained their unbeaten record with an impressive 64-35 beating of St Matthew's Collegiate.
