There were just two goals in it when the Battle of the Colleges took centre stage in Wairarapa premier one netball over the weekend.
Competition leaders Wairarapa College locked horns with defending champions St Matthews Collegiate and it was Wairarapa College who had their noses in front at he final whistle,
winning by 34-32.
Collegiate indicated that the best could still be to come from them when they scored a surprisingly comfortable 56-33 win over All Blacks, Greytown had to work harder than anticipated in beating Featherston Black Socks 40-30 and Celtic Marist defeated Hiona 49-30.
