Carter House Aged Care Complex is located in Te Puke and is one of the Anglican CareWaiapu six care facilities.
It offers a 65 care bed home, made up of 20 Resthome, 27 Hospital rooms and 17 bed Specialised Unit, dedicated to providing care for those suffering from Alzheimer's and other associated conditions.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our experienced team at Carter House. This position will be responsible for providing contemporary clinical leadership & management in collaboration with the Facility Manager to ensure service delivery reflects a best practice philosophy.
You will be responsible for leading, coaching and developing the staff team to deliver clinical and service excellence. You will be accountable for care delivery, clinical leadership, staff management, compliance & quality, financial management and contributing to setting budgets.
This position holds the mantle of 2IC to the Facility Manager, providing out of hours on call support.
Key Requirements:
• NZ Nursing registration and current APC
• Bachelor of Nursing qualification desirable
• Proven clinical leadership skills with experience in an aged care environment
• Proven people management skills with the ability to lead, coach and develop a
team
• Strong business and financial management skills/acumen
• A genuine passion for the aged care industry
• Strong communication and relationship management skills
• Able to champion the special character of Anglican Care Waiapu.
