City seeks feedback on future

The Auckland City Council is seeking feedback from residents and ratepayers on the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Auckland.

A supplement on reshaping local government in Auckland will be published in the council's City Scene at the weekend and go on the council website today.

Regional governance committee chairman David Hay said the feedback would help the council develop a submission to go to the commission on April 22.

The council is also working with stakeholders, including business organisations, the arts sector, Maori leader and community boards.
