A person has been seriously injured in a workplace accident in Christchurch.
Emergency services responded to the incident on Matipo St, Riccarton, just before 7.30am, after reports of a person injuring themselves while unloading an item from a wagon.
Hato Hone St John said it sent one ambulance tothe incident.
One person was taken to Christchurch Hospital in a serious condition.
