Christchurch police seek help to identify person after scrap metal thefts

Police investigating scrap metal thefts in Christchurch want help identifying a person captured on security footage.

A police spokesperson said they believed the person can help with inquiries into thefts from a commercial premises on Chapmans Rd, Woolston on November 27.

The person can be seen wearing a green jacket with the hood pulled over their head and a dark coloured cap.

“If this is you, or you know who this person is, please update us through 105 either online or over the phone,” a police spokesperson said.

“Please use the reference number 251128/0062.”
