A missing Christchurch woman has been found dead after a second day of large-scale search efforts.
Tracy, 66, was reported missing about 1.20pm on Wednesday after missing a pre-planned lunch date.

Her Tesla was found along Taylors Mistake Rd, Scarborough, about 2pm. Police said earlier they held “grave fears” forher.
On Thursday night police announced she had been found dead by Police Search and Rescue about 6pm.
“Police would like to thank all those who assisted with the search, including Coastguard Sumner volunteers, Land Search and Rescue volunteers, and Fire and Emergency New Zealand staff,” police said in a statement.
“We would also like to acknowledge everyone who contacted police with possible sightings following our public appeals for information.”

On June 4, Christchurch woman Elisabeth Nicholls, 79, vanished from Ryman’s Margaret Stoddart Retirement Village in Christchurch just hours after being admitted for respite care.
The last confirmed sighting was at the Chateau on the Park hotel in Riccarton in the evening of June 4.
