Body found at Heathcote Valley property as police seek identity

An investigation has been launched into the identity of a person found dead at a Christchurch property.

Police said officers responded to reports of the sudden death on Horotane Valley Rd in Heathcote Valley this morning.

“As part of our efforts, we are looking to identify the deceased.”

The death is not believed to be suspicious.

Anyone with information which could potentially assist in the investigation is urged to contact police.
