A 47-year-old woman appeared in court this afternoon charged with the murder of a Christchurch delivery driver.
Philip James Nisbet, 47, was found dead at his Christchurch home in the early hours of May 4, 2009.
Today, an unemployed woman appeared at a Christchurch District Court hearing at Rangiora court house charged with murdering Mr Nisbet "on or about'' May 4, 2009.
She also faces two charges of attempted murder.
The woman - who cannot be named for legal reasons - appeared in the dock visibly upset.
After a short hearing, she was remanded without plea on bail with a host of special conditions attached.
Judge Colin Doherty granted her name suppression and "in the interests of a fair trial'' also made an interim suppression order in relation to all facts of the case.
