A Christchurch man accused of killing his 5-year-old autistic step-son has been denied bail.
Leon Michael leFleming Jayet-Cole died after suffering a serious head injury on May 27.
James Stedman Roberts, 34, has pleaded not guilty to his murder.
In a High Court decision, delivered yesterday, Justice Paul Heath denied Roberts bail. The reasons for his decision were suppressed.
