A Christchurch man has today denied being behind a string of underwear thefts from washing lines in the city.
Shane Andrew Brady, 44, is accused of stealing women's underwear off washing lines in the Christchurch suburb of Riccarton.
At Christchurch District Court today he received a registrar's remand without having
to appear before a judge.
He has indicated not guilty pleas to two counts of burglary and was remanded on bail until July 21 for a case review hearing.
Police say investigations are continuing.
