Christchurch girl, 15, missing for nearly two weeks

Police are searching for a 15-year-old girl last seen 12 days ago.

Canterbury police are asking for the public's assistance to help find Karina Parfitt, who has been missing since Friday, August 4.

She is described as European and of slim build.

She has shoulder-length blonde hair normally tied in a pony-tail.

She was last seen wearing grey track pants, a black hoodie, a black jacket and black Nike shoes.

"We believe she is currently somewhere in the Papanui area, and we ask that anyone who has seen her please contact police immediately," police said on their Facebook page.
