Christchurch death not suspicious

The death of a 23-year-old Christchurch woman is not being treated as suspicious, police say.

Police said yesterday they were investigating after the woman was reported missing from Stanmore Road in the suburb of Phillipstown.

After a post mortem today, Detective Senior Sergeant David Harvey said the death was not suspicious and would be investigated by the coroner.

It was not yet clear when she died, a spokesman said.
