Chopper sent out to cruise ship on the Milford Sounds

An ICU team is being flown out from Dunedin to a cruise ship on the Milford Sounds later this afternoon.

A duty manager at Dunedin Hospital confirmed a chopper was being sent out but wouldn't release more information.

"It's not an accident, or a trauma," she said. "It's likely a medical condition."
