Save Families turned out to Wairarapa SPCA on Sunday afternoon to celebrate International Children's Day.
The SPCA and Child, Youth and Family came together to hold the day as there are many families both organisations work with.
It was also a way families could spend time together and to get children
to understand the needs of animals.
A bouncy castle, animals including a miniature horse and chickens, and a sausage sizzle were also at the free event.
Community organisations such as Women's Refuge also attended to help spread their message.
