Child gets head stuck in deck

Firefighters were called out to an Auckland house this morning after a child got its head stuck in a deck.

A spokeswoman for the service confirmed it sent two trucks to the address at Kohekohe Street, New Lynn, at about 11.20.

She said, the child was "removed from the deck", but there were no details as to how long it took, or what methods were required.

The spokeswoman wouldn't divulge the child's age either.
