Newly named kiwi chicks "Skudder" and "Nonu" were released into Pukaha Mount Bruce's reserve this week.
Their names were chosen by the All Blacks-supporting Miller family in Masterton after dad Corey won the naming opportunity in a major spot prize at the Breadcraft Wild Challenge.
Pukaha Mount Bruce had two
kiwi chicks ready to release and have posted on Facebook that the Millers gave perfect names to the kiwi.
"We trust that Skudder will be able to quickstep past any predators and Nonu will be strong enough just to push them away," the post reads.
