Chefs share lives in new cookbook

MasterChef winners Kasey and Karena Bird launched their first cookbook, For the Love Of, on Friday night in Paengaroa.

The Maketu-based Herald on Sunday food columnists described it as more than a cookbook, saying it was a story of their lives.

They shared the night with family and close friends, as well as radio host Stacey Morrison and her husband, Scott, pictured.

The sisters will spend the next few months promoting the book before packing up to travel and experience some of the best cuisine in the world.
