The brother of a Tauranga man who died after falling from a vehicle on a Mt Maunganui beach has been charged with drink-driving causing death.
Jordan Lloyd Alexander McGregor, 23, was one of two people on the bonnet of a car being driven by his brother Luke on Omanu Beachat 1am on February 28.
Jordan was killed after he fell from the bonnet and under the car.
Luke, 25, was charged with driving with excess breath alcohol causing death and dangerous driving when he appeared in the Tauranga District Court on Wednesday.
