Ever dreamed of falling asleep in Maria Tutaia's bed?
This could be your lucky chance. Along with three other leading Kiwi ladies, Tutaia has designed a bespoke posturepedic bed that could be yours.
The glamorous Silver Fern, cook and My Food Bag boss Nadia Lim, broadcaster Stacey Morrison, and imageconsultant Lorraine Downes have all designed a one-off fabric artwork for a Sealy Posturepedic Exquisite bed.
The four beds - each with their own unique design - go under the hammer at the end of the month, with all proceeds donated to the New Zealand Breast Cancer Foundation.
Tutaia took "Pacific Island Princess" as the theme for her bed, representing Pacific Island women all over New Zealand.
"I wanted to express a beautiful, strong, Island female with long, thick, luscious hair with the hibiscus flower highlighting her ethnic roots," she said.
Morrison dubbed her design "Retro New Zealand", with pale blue colour and distinctive Kiwi motifs.
"The colours remind me of my childhood and the addition of the Maori place names reflects our bicultural connection with the land."

The Maori incantation around the bed-base is one Morrison and her husband Scotty Morrison say to their children every night. It translates as: "The sky is calm, the earth is at peace, the whole world is tranquil. Peaceful sleep descends, rest in the knowledge you are surrounded by deep affection, love and serenity. Rest now, rest well, rest is yours."
Celebrity chef Lim took inspiration from her favourite weekend recipe - Breakfast in Bed Pancakes.

"One of my amazing fans illustrated this recipe and sent me the picture which I have framed in my kitchen and I thought it would make a cool bed design - you'll never lose the recipe when it's printed on your bed."
Downes took "True Love" as her inspiration, saying: "I believe everyone needs direction and support in one's life path.
"In my design the heart represents where your truth lies and the Mandela design illustrates how the heart centre resonates out through this, affecting every part of your life. So listen to your heart first."

It's the fourth year that Sealy has run its designer bed auction. The company raised more than $60,000 for the NZ Breast Cancer Foundation, in its past three auctions.
Sealy has pledged a minimum of $25,000 to the Foundation from the 2016 auction.
• The four celebrity designed beds will be listed on Trade Me, and open for bidding for two weeks from Monday, October 17. The auction ends on October 31.
