A supermarket brand cereal has been recalled because of the chance it could contain glass.
Countdown has recalled its 425g Homebrand Honey Poppas, which were sold in Countdown, FreshChoice and SuperValue stores nationwide from July 14 and had best before dates of July 3 and July 4, next year.
"This product is being recalled as it may contain glass and pose a health risk if consumed," a spokesperson for the supermarket said.
The supermarket had not received any complaints or reports of injuries associated with the product.
"As a precaution consumers should return the product to their nearest Countdown, FreshChoice or SuperValue store for a full refund."
Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice, the spokesperson said.
Countdown apologised for any inconvenience caused by this recall.
