Masterton Rotary Club provided $3500 plus labour to the project.
Merv Brown, a retired builder and Masterton Rotary Club member who represents the Henley Trust and was project manager on the job, said the two extensions completed major works on the shed. "Anything else will be done by the Men's Shed themselves," he said.
Other donors had included Trust House, Eastern and Central Bank, Carters, Juken New Zealand and M.B.Brown Ltd. A new building, which will accommodate noisy machinery currently in the main workshop, is being done by a commercial company. During the presentation, shed co-ordinator John Bush thanked Juken New Zealand for providing a discount on materials.
