Four cars got caught up in live power lines after they came down on a South Island highway this afternoon.
Police said no one was injured in the incident on the Coastal Highway near Mapua, between Nelson and Motukea.
The lines were believed to have been brought down by a
tree being felled in the area.
Diversions were put in place while the lines were fixed.
