Cars and jetboat seized during drug bust

Cars and a jetboat were seized during a drug bust in North Canterbury today.

Rangiora police executed two search warrants and arrested five people in the operation.

A jetboat and three cars -- one of which was allegedly stolen from Nelson -- were recovered. Four firearms and illegal drugs were also seized.

Police said they had stopped a "busy group of criminals with known links to organised crime and drugs".

They will face methamphetamine and cannabis related charges.
