Carousel horses are back again at the 146th annual Masterton A&P; Show at Solway Showgrounds this weekend.
Judy Mahon, of Mahon's Amusements, said the carousel ride was back up and running for the Wairarapa show after two years away.
The carousel, which is for the younger showgoers, is one ofeight rides that will comprise the sideshow this year, as well as numerous food and games stalls.
"It's good to have the carousel back and it's always good to be back in Masterton," she said.
The company also had sideshows operating in Petone and Pukekohe as well this weekend, Mrs Mahon said.
Multiple bookings throughout the country were common for the company on most summer weekends.
The show is open from 8.30am to 5pm today, and 8.30am to 4pm tomorrow. A farm-yard nursery, livestock and equestrian, trade exhibits, home industries and crafts were also to be part of the show this weekend.
Cattle judging and the grand parade will be held tomorrow.
