Car rolls in Onehunga, traffic backed up

A car rolled in Onehunga this morning blocking the road and delaying traffic.

The car may have hit a truck before rolling, a police spokeswoman said.

The crash happeend on the corner of Galway and Victoria streets in Onehunga shortly before 7am.

The driver of the car received minor injuries and no one else was hurt.

Nearby Neilson St was briefly closed, causing traffic to back up.

Contractors were removing debris and redirecting buses, the spokeswoman said.
