Car rolled on Auckland's northwestern motorway, lane blocked

A car has rolled after hitting the median barrier on Auckland's northwestern motorway this morning.

The driver was shaken and moderately injured, a police spokeswoman said. They were with St John ambulance staff at 7am.

The car had rolled and was blocking the left lane city-bound just before the Newton Rd off-ramp, the spokeswoman said.

Police were working to clear the car from the road.
