Car crashes, rolls on SH16 northwest of Auckland

A person had to be cut free from a wrecked car after it rolled on State Highway 16 north of Helensville, Auckland.

Emergency services were called to the crash at 6.30am and Fire and Emergency fire crews used rescue equipment to free the trapped victim.

St John Ambulance staff treated the person.

The NZ Transport Agency said there were no major delays.
