Car crashes into fence in Glendene, leaving one person seriously hurt

A passenger in a crash on Barrys Rd, Glendene, had to be freed by firefighters.

One person has been seriously hurt after the car they were a passenger in crashed into a fence in west Auckland.

Two people were in the vehicle when the crash happened on Barrys Rd in Glendene just before 10pm, a police spokesman said.

The passenger was trapped in the wreckage with serious injuries and had to be freed by firefighters before being taken to hospital.
