Car crash near Sunnynook, Auckland, leaves one in hospital

Commuter delays are expected after a two-car crash left one person with minor injuries in Sunnynook, Auckland.

A police spokeswoman said the crash happened about 8am on Sunset and Juniper Rds.

The driver of one vehicle has been taken to North Shore Hospital with minor injuries.

The other driver is assisting police with inquiries.

There have been no road closures.

The NZ Transport Agency said there could be delays and advised motorists to avoid the area.
