Car and motorbike crash shuts Curletts Rd in Christchurch, motorists advised to avoid area

A busy Christchurch road is closed following a serious crash this morning.

Police said the crash between a car and motorbike happened on Curletts Rd, State Highway 75 about 11am.

“Police are in attendance and the serious crash unit has been advised,” a spokesperson said.

“One person has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.”

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
