Dalefield players Dane Lett and Jesse Workman have been named in the Capital national league men's hockey team for 2011.
They are among the 18 players confirmed yesterday by coach Sean Dancer in a side that includes Black Sticks Kyle Pontifex, Matt L'Hullier, Blair Hilton and Steve Jenness.
They will play inan inter-provincial tourney at Taupo this coming weekend, with the NHL commencing with a double-header at Palmerston North on the weekend of July 30 and 31, followed by an eight-day tourney in Wellington from August 6 to 14.
The full squad is: Kyle Pontifex, Alex Schroder, Scott Falconer, Matt L'Hullier, Dane Lett, James Coombes, Iain McPeake, Stu Pitu, Blair Hilton, Joel Baker, Jason Hilton, Tim Gyles, Andy Howse, Steve Jenness, Jacob Smith, Matt Young, Jared Jones, Jesse Workman.
Capital are the defending national league men's champions.
