Cambridge Indian restaurant goes up in flames

Save The exterior of the Royal Cambridge Indian Restaurant and Bar feared a lot better than the interior after a fire began in the kitchen last night.
Firefighters were able to contain a blaze to the kitchen area of a Cambridge restaurant.
Although the Royal Cambridge Indian Restaurant and Bar did suffer a bit of smoke damage after the blaze began about 11.45pm yesterday.
Fire and Emergency NZ safety officer Kevin Holmes said it appeared the fire
began in the kitchen area of the Burns St eatery.
Most of the fire damage was contained to that part of the building.
