Bus passengers will be dropped on the city outskirts during tomorrow's truckie protest.
KEY POINTS:
There's bad news for commuters expecting to take the bus to avoid nightmare traffic tomorrow - they'll be made to get out and walk.
Auckland Regional Transport Authority spokesman Mark Lambert says that as the CBD will be blocked, commuters will be dropped outside the central city duringthe expected three-hour protest window of 7am until 10am.
"Commuters using bus services to get into the Auckland CBD during this time will be bussed to the perimeter of the CBD and should expect to walk from that point," he said.
Lambert said trains and ferries will be running to normal timetable, but were expected to be significantly busier.
"Commuters should expect higher than usual passenger numbers," he said.
