A bus passenger and a driver of a van have been injured in a serious crash in East Auckland this afternoon.
The accident happened around 2.15pm when the van and bus collided at the intersection of Kilkenny Dr and Delmont Close.
Fire, ambulance and police raced to the scene to free two people.
A police spokesman said a passenger on board the bus was injured along with the driver of the van.
Diversions were put in place. The serious crash unit was investigating.
