Britomart site blessed

The site and platforms of the new Britomart train station have been given a traditional Maori blessing. More than 150 guests joined the ceremony, conducted by Ngati Whatua kaumatua. The official opening will take place on July 25 and a free festival day for the public will be staged the next day.
