Breakdowns, crash slows city-bound traffic

The traffic woes continue on Auckland motorway's this morning with yet another breakdown blocking traffic on the network.

The latest headache is on the South-Western Motorway at Lambie Drive.

The NZTA said traffic was now banked up to State Highway 1 after a vehicle had broken down and was blocking the left lane on south-western motorway.

A crash northbound before Mangere Bridge on the same motorway was also causing major delays.

The earlier breakdown on the Auckland Harbour Bridge was now cleared though traffic still remained very heavy citybound on the Northern Motorway.
