A breakdown is blocking lane three on the Auckland Harbour Bridge heading northbound along the Northern Motorway.
Meanwhile, a crash which has been cleared on the Southern Motorway heading southbound after the Takanini off-ramp has caused heavy traffic in the area.
NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists to expect delays as congestion eases in the area.
Heading northbound, a breakdown has also been cleared from the left lane just after the Greenlane on-ramp also on the Southern Motorway.
Elsewhere, powerlines have received significant damage following a crash between a truck and a pylon on Great North Rd earlier today.
A spokesperson for Vector said outage response crews are working on "back feeding" electricity to people in the Waiatarua area.
Auckland Transport is also reporting a crash which downed powerlines on West Coast Rd around 3.10pm had forced a section of the road to be closed.
Tonight the road is being controlled by traffic management and is expected to be fully reopened later this evening.
