Brand and Communications Assistant

Sileni Estates was established in 1998, since then Sileni wines have won world-wide acclaim for their food-friendly wine style. The company has vineyard plantings in the Hawke's Bay and Marlborough and is one of the largest family-owned wine producers in New Zealand, exporting wine to 80 different markets around the world

We are looking for a brand and communications assistant to work in our marketing team, based at our head office in Hawke's Bay. As an integral part of the Sileni Estates marketing team, you will be assisting across the complete marketing and communications mix. This is an exciting and varied role encompassing trade marketing, content creation and communications support. The right candidate will be totally hands on, willing to learn, with impeccable time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.

Key responsibilities:

• Assist with the development of sales collateral and product documentation for use in
global markets (e.g. sell sheets, staff training information, POS collateral)
• Content creation and management for a variety of digital channels
• Social community management
• Execution of PR and communication initiatives, including monitoring coverage and
accolades
• Market and competitor research and analysis
• Support the new product development group

Requirements:

• 2 -3 years' experience in a similar role ideal, but will consider graduates with
relevant tertiary experience
• Interest in the wine industry essential, wine experience a plus
• Strong computer skills
• Knowledge and understanding of content creation, digital communication and social
platforms, including awareness of digital influencers
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Organised, with great attention to detail
• A can do attitude, the ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines
• A tertiary qualification in marketing or communications
