Boys in hole after digger caper

Two teenage brothers have dug a hole for themselves after being charged with stealing a digger in Blenheim yesterday.

The teens, a 15-year-old student and his 18-year-old brother, allegedly took the digger for a drive, dug a hole with it and tried to remove the head unit, Constable Michelle Stagg of Blenheim police said.

They were arrested at 7.45pm after member of the public saw them and called police.
