Boy seriously injured after motorbike accident

Save An 11-year-old boy suffered serious injuries after hitting a pole while riding a motorbike in Thames today.
An Auckland Westpac Rescue helicopter spokesman said staff were called to the accident about 3pm.
"He fractured his pelvis, his femur and maybe an arm," the spokesman said.
The boy, who had been
riding his motorbike, was flown to Waikato Hospital in a serious condition.
He was not riding in an event at the time, the spokesman said.
