Shoppers are out in force in Auckland as people take advantage of the traditional Boxing Day bargains.
There are queues just to get into the carpark at Westfield Albany on the North Shore.
Drivers are ignoring the sign saying 'Carpark Full' and trying their luck anyway.
Some have even given up and parked on the grass verge.
Inside the mall it's also crowded, with huge lines outside some shops and security letting in just a few people at a time.
Westfield spokeswoman Deb McGee says while there are no official sales figures out yet, anecdotal evidence suggests this year's Boxing Day is on track to be bigger than last year's.
