Boobs on Bikes' boss fined

Porn entrepreneur Steve Crow has been fined $5000 for acting as a director of a company while banned.

The Boobs on Bikes organiser was banned last year from being a director for four years in Australia and New Zealand by the Ministry of Economic Development (MED).

Originally Crow argued for a defended hearing on the MED charge that he acted as a manager for the 2010 Boobs on Bikes event which contravened his ban.

Crow had his application to be discharged without conviction thrown out in the Auckland District Court last month.

On Tuesday he changed his plea to guilty and was fined and ordered to pay costs.

Crow was banned over activities of four of his companies -- two which had been struck off the Companies Register and two which were in liquidation.
