A bombs scare at the Devonport Naval Base saw roads cordoned off this morning.
However, emergency services were stood down about 10am.
A Defence Force spokeswoman said a suspicious package caused alarm about 9.55am, but the owner of the package was then located and the situation resolved about 10 minutes
